TxDOT map blooms with new feature

AUSTIN — As the spring season stays in full bloom, a new map feature is helping Texans find the best places to see wildflowers.

AUSTIN — A new “wildflower” layer added to TxDOT's ⬆️ is designed to bring both data and discovery to users across the state.

Drivers can pinpoint the exact area to plan where they can not only park to see the flowers, but get the best pictures. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) recommends drivers park away from traffic and not on top of flowers.
