Anyone going to try and shoot this?

I'm running out of days to plan a trip, let alone plan/assemble gear to try it. Boo....
 
I managed to get these using Spie filter material. They are meh, but better than I expected considering how quickly I hodge-podged my rig:

This was my best shot I think. Through a Harbor Fraught auto welding helmet rigged to work via an IR emitter. Canon 30D and a 35-105 zoom. Wish I had my wife's primes with me. The welding helmet worked great. Cranked up to 13 it was very comfortable to use with my eyeballs.
