Only bike the power ever scared me on was a vmax.

Chirped the tire going from second to third, going pretty quick by the time I shifted.

I had a 98 Max for a couple of years. Great torque, smooth ride. 19k miles is about 1/6th used up based on average engine life for a well cared for Vmax.
 
There is just something about those bikes. They are eye catchers for sure, and red makes it even better.
 
Couple of folks asked if pics were current..Very much so. This is from early this morning before I headed out to work.

I had the exact same year and model. Mine was #100 of 2000 what number is yours ? Just curious … Sweet ride btw and Glws great price looks like someone will get a great deal here.
 
Looks like it is #546.
I think I priced it fairly.
Maybe it has been the weather.... but I have not had any interest.
No hurry on my end and only costs a couple of pennies a day to keep the battery tender on it. 😀
Took it out a few days ago and put about 6 miles on it. It is a great ride.

Yes that particular model with the red and ghost flames is so awesome. Looking at yours sure brings back memories and makes me miss my Vmax.
and yes its an awesome deal spring is here and I don't think it will stay on your hands too long GLWS and enjoy riding it while you can.

Would love to but one street bike is enough for me now....Lately I have found myself drooling over ADV bikes and may just pull the trigger on one someday in the near future. GLWS though she's a fine machine that someone would thoroughly enjoy.

Corbin seat has a velcroed section that pops out to refuel.

VMAX's have an aire of wonderment. 20th Anniversary model so you now they're doing it right and selling. GLWS, I'm in the same boat.

SPF. Have a fly and ride coming in from Idasho on Friday the 19th. Should be a nice ride back through the Rockies for him !

Have a rider flying in from Idaho this evening. He is supposed to pick up the bike tomorrow morning and ride it back.
I have talked to him a couple of times over the past 1.5 weeks. Do not expect him to be a no show.
Will update posting on Saturday with the end results.
