A good brother in Christ. Was born blind in one eye. Went completely blind in his remaining eye in April due to internal bleeding in the eye.
Flies to John Hopkins tomorrow to try and get their eye center specialists to operate. Will need lens and cornea replacement, but catch-22 with clots - he's on blood thinners which probably contributed to the original bleed.
God is faithful in whatever the outcome, but we sure are hoping and praying for healing, either through the Holy Spirit's simple touch, or through the surgeon's hands. From a worldly view, this is his last hope, but God...
Thank you

Prayers sent for the best outcome. Life may go another direction, but life continues.

Thank you all. He's in Baltimore, scheduled for his first visit at JHU tomorrow.

Thanks, all, for your prayers.
He saw the cornea/lens specialist yesterday and they believe the odds are very good that they can restore most of his sight. Surgery in 6-8 weeks.

Boy, that's sounding good!

Just saw this post. I'll pray for him now, but keep us posted when we get close to surgery time.
