I have a different storage solution for the Super Ten. If you're interested....
Lookin at all the wasted space under my luggage rack plate...I came up with this idea.... A relatively simple solution using a Pelican 1150 case...a Givi M3 series plate ..& the custom bracket I designed

The bracket can also be used in conjunction with some other plate brands as long as they have at least 10.25" of flat width to mount the bracket

As you can see...I have some simple vinyl slides attached to keep the case inside from rattling around. I have used some pins & clips to secure the case. I drilled holes in the Givi plate for the pins. Other options could include locks if you want.

On my installation..I found that my helmet lock tucked in nicely using the Givi's mounting slots for an extra bolting point

Mounting hardware for the custom bracket consists of 4 spacers & 4 bolts.
4 vinyl sliders for case
Hardware to attach your Givi M3 plate (Monokey) or M3M (Monolock) consists of 2 bolts washers & nuts. Thats it...

That was my goal....to only raise the luggage plate surface by 1" - 1.5" compared to other brands of racks.
I have had the bracket on the bike for appx 1K now ...with absolutely no issues...loaded trunk...pavement or gravel

Yes....the 6mm holes for Givi Monokey spools on Alt racks should just line up with brkt mounting flanges. You might need to drill 2 more rear holes in the plate...same 9" width as Givi spool holes. Im only using 2 8mm bolts to hold the Givi plate to my brkt...works fine with that plate design.

Other brands of Tenere alloy luggage plates like SW Motech & Givi SRA series are too narrow at the rear of the plate...but there are alloy plates for other bikes from these same mfgs that might be wide enuff...& most already have the 2 front Givi spool holes

I don't have a Tenere, but that's still pretty cool. nice work.

Thanx...I had been thinkin about something like this ever since I bought my first Tenere...the 2013 from PA. It had an Altrider rack on it...which also has a cubbyhole storage underneath the plate...albeit..much smaller. I just redesigned the mount bracket to fit the Pelican case. I did have some much needed help with fabrication from anuther forum member...Budzrx....so BIG THANX to him...he made it happen...twice!

I always wondered why somebody didn’t make a case or tool box to fit in the Altrider space.

I have the stock S10 Rack for the trunk, so I don't think this would work for me... but I love the idea! :)
