Things to look for on a motorcycle lift table

Mine is blue and silver. Paint is either 2 part epoxy or possibly powder coat. Easy to keep clean..

Video is on the long side, but good information on Handy lifts. Doug needs to be aware since he has a couple of these.
I had watched that a few days ago. For sure a scary scenario, though probably not likely to happen for most people. But, what you don't know can hurt you.

Made a decision last week and the lift came today. I was leaning toward the TX-1500 but they were out of stock in Texas. Then I checked on a Handy S.A.M 1200 and the two places with decent pricing were sold out. Thought they may have some in December. Another one on my list was the Redline 1500 so I called them and they had it in stock and could ship the next day. They also had the Handy in stock but their price was quite a bit higher. Went with the Redline as the difference in price will help pay for a lot of farkles or shop improvements. The lift would have been here Friday but the hurricane held it up in New Orleans. This thing is heavy, I will say that. Shipping weight was 760 and the crate is wood but pretty light. Guessing the lift is right around 700 pounds. It came with a front extension which I went ahead and put on but may pull it later if I decide I don't like it there. Air over hydraulic. Once I have used it for a while I will report what I think,

That half of the shop is getting better, still have a ways to go though.

Im kinda happy with my lift , handy for other uses too

And easy to move around the shop too .
Yes, that lift is handy, I have one like that, except a Mitsubishi, that I just told my son he could come and get if he could use it in his business shop. He said he would pick it up next week. I just do not need it any more, and it takes lots of room. But, if you need one there are not many other options. I may get a set of forks for the tractor if I decide I need something to load and unload stuff from the truck.

Nice lift and Hydraulic as well, very slick. The guy in video didn't mention a failed air cylinder. I put one of the seals in backwards, it lasted 6 yrs then failed with a DR-Z400S on it. Lift was at the top, I was going to lower the arm, but as I approached it, the lift fell straight down, all the air gone. Lesson learned. Lube the lifts with air cylinders as prescribed in the owners manual, air compressor or 30 wt and a little STP, I include a smidge of Marvel Mystery Oil and no failures since. I shoot the oil in about monthly when I am thinking about it.

I put an oiler inline on the compressor and will give it some extra as I think of it. Will say the lift is a game changer. Should have done it years ago. It has me spoiled already.

I came across this today. The guy has skills and the result looks very good. If I didn't already have a lift,. I'd give this a try.
Impressive .

I had a Handy lift. I loved everything about it except for the foot pedal- seemed like it was always in the way. I ended up routing the air line and pedal up to the front corner, underneath. I could reach down and squeeze the pedal by hand, and it was never in the way again.
I would have liked removable side tables, and a white deck. The grey seemed to be easy for me to lose parts and tools. Would definitely buy another Handy lift. Mine was made in USA, not sure about the current models. Hope this helps..

All I can say is lifts are the jam. I have wanted one for ever, and just recently picked up a used HF. I wish I popped for one ages ago. I have used all sorts of of jack and scissor lifts over the years. I wish I would have bought one sooner. It's in constant use now, as my old bone don't care for the bending and kneeling anymore.
