Today is my last day to be young :(

I've done it twice and later this year will be a decade since I did it twice and I bought the Ninja 4 months ago:eek2:

the states and Provinces colored in are the ones I have ridden in, still have some Provinces to go.

My thoughts exactly. Time for a gold wing, viagra, maybe get false teeth or somethin'....

:lol2:

gold wing sure, I'm a long way (no pun intended) from needing viagra and my teeth are in good shape

I'm actually looking forward to the next 10 years. I'm gonna start doing track days, and by the time I'm 40 I plan on doing a dual sport trip to Big Bend,
and the wife and I are talking about adding a little poser or two to the family

Be careful what you wish for. When I turned thirty, I took the MSF. A year later, I bought a bike. Another year passed by and I then bought a second bike and started doing track days. Two years later, at 34, I am doing every track day I can (afford) and started racing. My family and friends think I am having an early mid life crisis but I'm not so sure.

BTW, I actually forgot my 30th bday. It wasn't until my Grandmother called me the next day to wish me a happy birthday that I realized it.

So today is my last day of being young, of being able to say, "I'm in my 20's"

Tomorrow I crest the hill and turn 30 :tears:

Wow, I thought I was the young one on this board. From the pie runs, you would think so. I am 36.

Happy Birthday!!

I like my avitar, its rememberable. I've heard, "oh you're the one with the little orange dragon thing." more than once

and yeah, some of the pie runs look like domino night at the old folks home  :duck:

30 was a pretty good year...I remember that day or at least night vividly....Dont fret it....Only one alternative to getting older.

30 was a GREAT year, my first born was born 3 days after I turned 31.

Age is irrelevant. It's how you feel inside and how you take care of yourself.

I'll be 40 in about a year and a half and I look younger than most of the 30 year olds I work with.

Actually, I can't wait until I'm 40 so I can tell them how crappy they look for their age.

Hey Man,

Turning 30 is no big deal. It's like an old girlfriend once told me; "When you turn thirty you are thirty. When you turn 31 you are now "in your thirties".

If it makes you feel any better, you will officially "be" in your 31st year after you turn 30!

One last thing, it's all in your mind. At least for now, later it's in your back, your knees, your eyes, the top of your head (for some), etc.

Take it from someone that's 54, "There's sooooooooooooooooo much more!"

Well if it makes you feel better.... I just found a bunch of my high-school classmates in Facebook and realized that in july it will be 20years since I graduated from HS... :eek2:

To use someone else's line... God wasted youth on the young. I wouldn't go backwards for anything.

Amen. I wouldn't mind being in my twenties again, but I wouldn't want to have to live through my twenties again. I'm happy with the age I am now. Old enough to know better, but young enough to go ahead anyway.

Last day to be young? Phooey! Darlin', as a gal who rocked out in the '70's, I can tell you age is a matter of attitude! And having a much younger husband sure doesn't hurt either!!;-) :trust: Have yourself a GREAT birthday & be sure that the best is yet to come!!!!

Well said sir!

Happy BD. It is mostly how young you think you feel and attitude; I just wish my body wouldn't show so much attitude.
