Anyone wanna join in??
I'll be stayin at the Sunset Inn. Rooms are reasonable at $59 for a single.
No set routes...justa seat o the pants type ride.

I wish anyone could attend.....I guess after Christmas is better for most folks to take a trip. But Big Bend calls for them

Maybe I will run into you out there. I should arrive in Fredericksburg or Kerrvile Tuesday night. I will probably stay in Kerrvile as my home base for a couple of days since there are few more hotel choices there. I will probably head back to Conroe on Friday.

2 tasty tacos from La Tequila Jalisco this mornin....a $6 deal compared to the 2 enchalidas for $14 at Mamacitas yesterday.

They have 32oz Margaritas to go.....hmmmm later?

What windshield is that on your V-Strom? And what about panniers for your travels? I recently purchased a new-to-me 2009 V-Strom 650 and those are two things I will be needing.

Acker was nicely paved...but I turned round at the gate.

Shield is a Givi st3101 I got recently on a deal. Just usin my Givi 33 ltr case & a Chase Harper Dlx Hideaway expandble tail bag on this trip. I do hav some Pro Sport side racks comin in a few days though.

Strawberry Shaved ice with cream cheeze whipped cream & mango chunks....mabe more....whatever...it was good

Look at all of that health food during your journeys.

There are some amazing looking places to stop for a meal during the tour if the timing lined up better. The weather has been awesome this week in this region.

There are bunches of lil paved goatpaths with all kinds of abodes.

Upper Sisterdale is mostly paved...but a couple of 1mi gravel sections near 1376
