Pics of the daughter would have been a much preferred choice! ;-)

That's not just any road....that's Push Mountain....might be my favorite road in the state.

Although....the gravel in the right hand turns going out is a bit irritating. You have to rein it back quite a bit to make sure you stay in the track. Someday someone will go sweep that road and it will be awesome again.

Yall have fun..... work pulled me out of town on Wednesday getting me back yesterday morning. I almost went up last night but the weather didn't look ideal and someone scheduled a Friday meeting for me so I just decided it was too much effort to try and make it this time.

I'm going to have to just take the time off and block it out if I'm ever going to make it.

What a great German dinner with some of the nicest guys in Arkansas! I have enjoyed myself immensely. I hope to see everyone soon. Cal, oh yeah, the song I remembered now by Mr. Stevens was Moonshadow.

Ride safe!

You're absolutely right about the gravel in the turns. The big trucks going though there have spread the rocks across the road, and they act like marbles. Fortunately there are many curves that are clear, but you can't always tell ahead of time, so caution is a must. The pavement on the northern portion of the road is also needing some attention. It's getting choppy and rough, probably overdue for a resurface.

MO125/AR125 is as spectacular as always. Still my favorite road, just wish it was a longer.

We road on some roads today west of Branson that are probably spectacular, but couldn't enjoy them to the fullest due to the rain.

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather, Mike. Probably best to sit this one out. The weather probably would have made you worse.

A few more shots from this morning's ride to War Eagle Mill, including Pacman and Mr2Mch crossing the old bridge.

There's also State Line BBQ, but it's a 20 minute drive from here. Reviews look good.

Re: TWT 2018 Fall Rally - Eureka Springs - NOW WITH DIRT!!

Glad to see you guys had a good ride Friday despite the rain. We had a wet drive home.

Looking at the radar this morning, Saturday is looking pretty nasty

We had a fantastic dual sport ride on Thursday, even with the flat, which is all part of the adventure. Even with the sunshine Daniel was cold most of the day. It is hard finding good gear small enough to fit him, especially rain gear. In warmer weather he might be okay, but rain and 50 F would have been a bad situation for him. As disappointing as it was for all of us, heading home was the right choice. As badly as he wanted to ride again, even Daniel reluctantly agreed.

Here are some pics from our ride Thursday.

The rain changed up our ride for sure. Not exactly the ride I was hoping for, but still a really good trip. We got in about 1200 miles in 3 days.

MacDaddy took me to a bunch of cool sites and roads. The only way it could have been better if the storms had held off a few more days.

It was nice to meet folks and put names to faces. Hope we can do it again sometime.

Obligatory bad video:

Jarrett, I saw one of the pictures was a wooden bridge which appeared wet. Were you able to face your demons on the Africa Twin? [emoji12]

lol, not gonna lie, I thought about as I was going over it :)

Made it home about 8PM.

Roads 123 & 7 was great ride, no rain.

After that a lot of rain and wild weather around Texarkana.

Good meeting and riding with y'all.

1-Always love your pictures!
2- How did the Scrambler do? Seems like a nice alternative.
3-Didn't know you came back early, any chance you were blasting down 980 on your 500 Saturday? Was on top of Judge Farris's deck we're building and saw one go by!

Glad you made it back safe.
