Unusual/rare motorcycles you'd like to have.

There are so many to list, but two that come up immediately are the MV Augusta Tamburini and the less expensive/ rare Benelli tre 1130 Tornado. And for some reason, I've always wanted a KZ1000, replete with cop fairing and bags. I blame CHiPs.

I'd go with the Hellcat. The CF girder fork on the Wraith is hideous. Britten's girder fork is pretty much just as ugly, but I guess there's not much you can do with two big slabs of carbon fiber. At least he covered his up.

Britten's V1000 headers are positively the most beautiful set of pipes ever attached to an internal combustion engine. They more than make up for the ugly front end.

Hellcat should have been on my list. I agree, the Wraith's front end is simply to ugly.

Norton 952 Commando

You don't see these every day, and they are pretty hot.

A few more photos here.

Especially since the resurrection was cut short when funding was pulled. I may be wrong, but I don't think any of the customers that put down deposits ever actually received a bike.

I know that I was more than a little excited by that bike when they unveiled it....I still wish it could have made it to full swing production.

I think a a few made it out, but I'm thinking single digits. Sad, as I would have been sorely tempted since the base model was realistically priced.

Wow John, great thread, great idea. So many good ones already, all I could do is copy others.

The GTS for sure.
The Confederates, either one.
The Morbidelli....it's pretty.
The Wakan and the Norton 952.

But most of all, I'm with Chirpy -
The R1200S isn't as rare, but that one, in the red & aluminum, ohhhh man.....

If your gonna want, want big.

You mean this running GSXR-750 powered, two-wheel drive, hub-steer concept from 1986? Looks like it would fit right in with the bikes from the anime Akira. There was some serious forward thinking with that machine. Thanks for mentioning it, because I had never heard of or seen it before. Very cool.

I'd really like an RC30, but I've always loved the RGV250 Pepsi Edition. Would look lovely in my garage.

Bikes I'd love to have that are actually in production:

MV Agusta 1000
MotoGuzzi Breva 1100
Ducati GT1000
Triumph SpeedTriple
HD XR1200

Just to name the first few that run off my head

I was in Europe last week and I tried to buy this but it cost a small fortune to ship back to the states.

Wow! A bike that squidward's never heard of! Amazing!

Hard to believe that no one has posted up this one......

If your 50cc pocket bike isn’t giving you that adrenaline rush you crave than consider this modest upgrade: It’s the MTT Turbine Super bike also know as the Y2K. Weighing in at about 500 lb, this jet powered motorcycle uses a Rolls Royce Allison gas turbine engine to create over 320HP and 425 ft. lb. of torque, making it the most powerful (and most expensive) production motorcycle ever! So what does all that power equate to? Well if you can hang onto the handle bars long enough it will sling you from 0 to 217mph in 14 seconds and top out at around 250mph!

Too much Busa, straight line bike with unusable speed. I'll take the TZ750, thank you very much.

There are several out there, I'm sure. I'm trying to find them as we speak. My lust for all things moto-related can not be sated.
