I have a friend who is in need of a car. She just got back from doing a yearlong Fulbright program and is in need of transportation. Unfortunately she won't get her first paycheck until the end of September, so $3000 is about the most she could spend.
Something Japanese, fuel efficient and automatic would probably be best. She can drive a stick, but until she finds an apartment closer to the school where she will be teaching, she will have to commute from Richardson to Fort Worth everyday (40-60 mins) which will probably be a bit of a traffic nightmare. She's in Dallas, but wouldn't mind driving a few hours for to get a solid car. She has to start school next Monday so hoping to find something by then.
