Sorry I missed this. When no one responded early enough for me to make it from Conroe, I elected to do a couple 'chores' that I had planned to postpone until Monday. Retrospectively, it would have definitely been better to ride.

Circumstances have conspired against me for Friday. But those same circumstances are now compelling me to be "out of the house!" on Thursday. You fellas and/or ladies want to get out for a ride on Thursday?

Um.. is this thread closed? I finally have some open Fridays coming up..
I'm retired but do part time work in spring, that happens to include Friday. Have 1 or 2 more weeks and I'll start posting on here. Obviously anyone is welcome to set one up! There is a couple of folks that watch thread but don't post. So you never know who might show up! A good thing!!!!:zen:

Rob it’s kinda of closed thru the summer. We are fair weather riders.
Summer hasn't even started yet. Then when over you fair weather riders have only 6 weeks before it's too cold to ride. Texas is year round riding except for hurricanes, floods and tornadoes. Lol

But as Rob suggested anybody can post up a date and destination and others surely will join.

Man, I have been riding a Goldwing for a month. I am itching to get in a ride on the SuperDuke. Friday may be warm, but it looks like it will be dry. Where we going?

I’m in. Was going to ride the 690 but I really don’t see any fun routes for it, so I’ll take the big bike instead.

It was a HOT and dusty ride to get there and back, but it's always worth it! Only had a few close calls with deer. Had a crazy momma deer standing in the middle of the road just outside Bedias, then sure enough, baby came shooting out of the weeds like a rocket! I was expecting that and ready. Dad's ribs were still steaming hot by the time I got back to Huntsville! It was good to see everyone.

We only had 5 but food was great, and as an extra treat jfink's friend showed up on a new Kawasaki H2 SX, supercharged goodness!

Had a great visit with the owner, he's a hoot. Glenn might need to turn his key off, drained battery and we just couldn't push start it. Finally got it jumped off and away we went.

Oh! I missed that! We will need to get Glenn a lanyard that he can attach to his wrist. You know, like the jet ski's.

I think he used the drained battery as a pick up line. Only folks he asked for help was from the young ladies, and they all tried!!!!! was amazing!

I'll be in Ark. with some fellow TWT riders this Friday if anyone wants to join us! But I'll be ready for the 31st, trying to get a new guy to join us. See ya.
