"If you’re gonna be on the trails this weekend, make good decisions... if it looks too wet... think about it before you attempt it. Remember these trails are maintained by the FS and volunteers. Let’s not make more work for them or make it to where they close them and we can’t enjoy them. Have fun, be safe and let’s take care of our trails. That’s the current situation?
Good advice. We’ll see what it’s like up there and try to find the dry areas. I’m certainly not going to be taking the 990 into anything that looks too cut up."If you’re gonna be on the trails this weekend, make good decisions... if it looks too wet... think about it before you attempt it. I wouldn't call it rain here, just a light mist. I'm riding to work this morning. It’s light rain right now in Katy. Anybody know what the weather is up north?
I didn't take that picture but doubt it all looks that way. That black gumbo out of KP would be nasty. lolGood advice. We’ll see what it’s like up there and try to find the dry areas. I’m certainly not going to be taking the 990 into anything that looks too cut up.
That’s the GS ridden by @TexasGsRider. I’m not that brave either! KudosView attachment 284722you're a brave guy, I don't get a proper dirt bike that nasty, lol.
Washed your bike yet Matt? I spent a solid hr with the pressure washer working on that mud.The trails were too wet. Surprised that they left the trails open. We got off of the wet trail as fast as we could. Still had fun guys.
Oh I'm not that brave either lol. The trail gradually got worse and it was one of those situations where it was better to press on than turn back. But I wouldn't have made it out had it not been for two fellows I was with.View attachment 284722you're a brave guy, I don't get a proper dirt bike that nasty, lol.
Wow, what a mess. Yes, finally got the bike back in shape. More like 3 hours... got pretty detailed about it thought.Washed your bike yet Matt? I spent a solid hr with the pressure washer working on that mud.
Yes I will probably look to go ride somewhere if you want to meet up. I was hoping the forest would dry out this week but it looks like rain again Saturday so that is likely a bust.Anyone up for a ride on Sunday?
Meeting up some guys from Katy. Possibly ride out to Fayetteville. I'll let you know once I know more.Yes I will probably look to go ride somewhere if you want to meet up. I was hoping the forest would dry out this week but it looks like rain again Saturday so that is likely a bust.
