wow, impressive, Jerry of Elgin! I could see a flag way in the back, and I was guessing that was a flag of Mexico... but I had no clue where....

I was going to post, "uh...who is Pedro Infante?". But, I did a quick bit of research. I am now among the top 100 Pedro Infante Experts in Texas, ha, ha..(ok, "...would you believe, I can at least spell his first name?" - in my best Maxwell Smart accent).

That link led to this bit of fantastic archival knowledge: a clip from actual movie of Mr. Infante on the motorcycle depicted in the statue:

(Maybe these two could have started their own on-line Forum: TWM's! )

Are those bikes Harley's, Indians,... or what? I am too young to know such things.,...

Thanks for the video RacerJohn.

This shrine is located in a viewing area for a well known canyon. Please name the canyon.

Woohoo! Do I get a prize for owning both the "in Texas" and "outside Texas" threads simultaneously?

What city is this fine place of lodging in?
