Whew. Nearly triple digits for the ride home. It felt nice this morning but that was a harbinger for it meant lower humidity which lets the afternoon temps really climb!
I dunno how you north and CenTx riders do it. Feels like riding into a blast furnace.
Yeah humidity is uncomfortable but it usually holds down the extreme temps.
 
A friend in the UK did, but it didn't end well. He hit a school bus. Lots of broken bones, but he will recover.
Might not have were it not for the helmet.

Not bad for an August morning but I expect the commute home this afternoon will be rather brutal.🥵

I've been taking the blue ice pack from my lunch bag and putting it against the back protector inside my jacket for the ride home. It helps.
