Who rode in today?

Was a terrific ride in this morning. All bundled up nice and warm. Left Westbury it was 34F, got to Sugar Land 17 minutes later it was 35F. Can't wait to repeat this evening.

I can say the tiny OEM extensions for the OEM hand guards on my bike work wonders, riding in at 28F weather my fingertips were hurting when arriving at work in past winters, it’s fine now, despite being a 100% two finger guy (fingers never stop resting on top of levers)
Might not need floppy duct tape and card board extensions I needed in Germany.

Which is good, riding to work is less painful than driving to work.

Rain pants are amazing wind breakers when it isn’t that cold like right now.

Well, 32 here and wife just informed me she needs the truck, so I'll bundle up and get after it! lol

Rode in to work again today.
Will, as long as there is no chance of ice from any falling moisture.
Love clearing my mind and focusing on nothing but the ride
during the time it takes to put on all the proper gear and warm up the bike.
Quite a zen like experience.

It's way too cold for me to ride. I got no problem riding in 100 degrees weather but if it's cold, I'm out.

I was riding in shorts through Houston downtown on Sunday. But it was 81 degrees.

I agree 100%. I've never said it's too hot to ride. I scored some heated gear about a month ago, just haven't tested it yet. I'm hoping that is the key for me.

28 when I left, did ok. My question for specialists. In my old Corvette, they didn't recommend driving below 40 because of tires. How long do sport bike type tires need to warm up?

Depends on how fast you do donuts

A bit on the cool side for me but I decided to ride anyway. I took my "little beast" to work. All 110 cc of it.

Cool side? It was over 50* this morning! I did run through one patch of fog that misted up my windshield a little though...

I could not see my well house 50ft away due to fog. I decided it was not a good day to ride. Smart decision as it was misting and super low visibility all the way. It was a little sketchy in a cage in my opinion.

This raining every few days thing is driving me nuts. The road to my office gets puddled up with any good size rain, and the whole road stays wet and muddy for 2-3 days afterwards. So even if it's Sunny and perfect weather, I don't really want to ride in and get my bike all gunked up. :whatever:

I couldn't see a **** thing riding in this morning. Stopped several times to wipe off my glasses and visor...didn't do any good, just immediatedly fogged again. Once I got into town the starburst of oncoming headlights made it even worse. I just aimed to the right of the headlights, but not being able to see traffic lights until it was too late was scary.

Finally got to ride in, after what seemed like endless rain-stop-rain-stop-rain-stop.

Even after almost 5 full days of no rain, the intersection turning into our industrial complex is still wet. :headbang: Hopefully, after a whole day of heavy weekday traffic, it'll be dry on the way home.

I'm seriously considering writing a letter to Sylvester Turner to get this stretch of road fixed.

Had a beautiful ride in this morning and hoping for the same this afternoon. The wind has picked up a bit but should still be fine.
