I've been seeing a few on CL both here and in AZ. People are pretty proud of them. Years ago I bought my wife a mint TTR 225 and had it street plated in a week. It was more off road capable by a bit with gearing and suspension /wheels etc. and lighter as well. I suspect much the same engine. They are a great choice

I looked for several months before finding one on Facebook Marketplace for an incredible deal. Had 800 miles on it and came with a ton of accessories installed and load of spare parts (sprockets, brake pads, and more). You just have to be patient.

We ended up putting a windscreen on the front of ours to cut down the wind blast to the chest at speeds over 55mph. It made a big difference.

Also, the suspension on these is kind of soft from the factory. They are sensitive to having the sag set correctly to prevent the bike from sitting nose high or nose down. If it sits nose down, it can start getting a little "wiggly" around 60 mph.

2017 Yamaha XT-250 $3600 -- SOLD!! --

The time has come for me to sell our 2017 Yamaha XT-250 dual sport motorcycle. This is the fuel injected model. It was originally a California bike and we have not "de-smogged" it. Current tags are good until the end of this year. I do have clear Texas title for the bike. I have three keys...
