I could swear I sold you a Nikon 55-300mm lens a while back?
You really are shooting in challenging conditions! I know it may sound like blasphemy to some folks, but you might also try simply underexposing by one stop and then bringing things back up in Lightroom afterward. With many of the newer sensors, they still capture an incredible amount of detail in the dark areas that can be brought out in post. That might help you bring down the ISO a tad or increase shutter speed if needed. I'm no expert, but from what I have read, you get less noise from underexposing and then brightening in post than you do from simply going to a higher ISO. Might be worth a try
My main workhorse lenses are:
1) AF-S Nikkor 70-300 1:4.5-5.6G
2) AF-S Nikkor 55-200 1:4-5.6G ED
