This past saturday, I made the pilgrimage to Lone Star BMW in Austin for some warranty work on my GSA. Knowing the 1600 was in, I had scheduled in advance for a demo ride while my bike was in the shop.
The machine I was not sure how I would like the GLT but I felt I needed to try it...
I had been a little cramped on my 09 RT with high seat. This GTL had the low seat but still had as much room as my RT, but I would want the high seat. I know many folks into this bike has already read up on it. I went in deliberately cold so I would not have any preconceived notions. My first thoughts once we hit out first stop sign was wow...it did not seem that heavy. Very maneuverable at low speed. I adjusted to it quickly and no problem deciding WOW...I LOVE THIS BIKE....It pulls hard from the start and feathers off with no issues. It just blows my mind how great it rode, it did not seem like the behemoth that it is...It has more gadgets than ya can shake a stick at which would take a little while to get use to the donut controller. I see in my crystal ball a GTL with a high seat...Robert are you listening Love those folks at Lone Star
