Quick notice but a good time of the season for northern New Mexico. Riding Sept. 8 thru 11.

Lodging in Red River and Questa. Several campgrounds between the two. Best for trail access are Elephant Rock and Fawn Lakes. Also many BLM and NF dispersed camping areas along FS roads.

We'll be riding the Red River trails complex. Other trails will include Elephant Rock, 4th Of July Canyon, Cerro Negro, Goose Lake, and Garrapate Ridge.

Trails in the area range from scenic FS roads to more technical. Some are big bike friendly and others strictly little bike terrain.

We will be south of you a little ways. Just after you leave, I’m thinking about heading to Cloudcroft. Have some fun out there!
