I have no clue where (or what) Ouray is, but after reading this thread am confident you'll get there.
As much of a pain as these things are, (do not ask me about '82 Sportster brakes) it's sure great a lot of us can DIY.

It's in the rocky mountains usa

What's the elevation? Anyone?
 
Highest passes we intend to ride are at 13K. Ouray is at 7782 per Google.
