What time do we meet up in the mornings at the rally point? Should we have breakfast before hand?
 
Any body in town already and willing to give me a hand to unload my bike. I am park next to the crackle barrel. I have ramps but is a 2 person job.

Well it looks like we are sticking with our original plan which was to go to Texas Tiddlers, we registered and paid for our spots a few months back. This dual sport ride was always a fall back option which I thought was going to be needed a few weeks back when the rain wouldn't quit and the forecast called for a lot more that they ultimately didn't get out there in east Texas. The other parties in my group want to stick to the original commitment seeing how things are dry and good to go out east so we will be headed to Shelbyville tomorrow and not Kerrville. I'll be sure to catch this ride next year and I hope you all enjoy yourselves this holiday weekend.

I couldn’t reach the camp site so far. Hope they will have room…

This route was posted up by fischthing for our 2022 event. I rode it and saw some new territory. Nothing scary about it...just some remote beautiful Texas hill country. Relatively good dirt to slab ratio. Enjoy!

Tbucket, you may know this, but a trick I use when backing a bike down a ramp is to put the bike in first gear and use the engine as a brake, ie pull in the clutch to release, let it out to stop and reset my feet.
 
Hey everybody! Looking forward to meeting everyone at dinner tonight. Just got into Kerville and brought my Dad with me. I’m on a KTM 890 Adventure and my Dad is riding is BMW F800GS.

This is our first event and we don’t know anybody! So looking forward to meeting people. Come say hi!
