So the wife and I are talking about getting a camera for us a our Christmas gift. Right now all we use is our iPhones (i have an old d40, but the iPhone does better honestly)
I'm looking at the Nikon d3400. There's a few places that will be running it on Black Friday for $500 with the standard 18-55 lens and a 70-300 lens. (Nikkor af-p dx 70-300)
I know some of y'all are going to say, oh just save and and buy a better camera, and all that camera snob talk
, but that's just not in the budget.
This will do duty at kids sports events and vacation trips. And video for stuff at church/work.
Sow what do you guys think? Pretty good deal for the package?
