Rogers to Springfield MO for real estate, nearly 300 miles.

Doesn't look like it. I hit that dog just west of Bedias, not in the forest. Also, @Hail was leading on his DRZ that day. It was September of 2016, I believe.

6:30 am the boy sticks his head into our bedroom, “Hey dad, wanna go to Atalanta with me?” Sure I replied so we hopped in the van, brought my mb and I followed him (running) for 8 miles around Lake Atalanta park up and down the hills, etc. for almost exactly one hour. Saw all kinda wildlife, including these goslings….. Nice morning…

I like riding the forest after a big rain. No sand, some mud, little more challenging till they're graded again. Only saw 1 snake, too fast to take a photo, turtles galore.

The washout photo is really deep, photo doesn't show it. The other creek picture shows how much rain came through. Forest service says 9 inches.

Go NE a customer said! So I fooled around between ES and MO on a gentle afternoon. A hunnert easy miles..
Maaaybe 80 degrees, sunny. So 187 thru Beaver (suspension bridge) to 220 to 246 to 143 to 216 and Stony Point access to the Kings River. Then 143 through Grandview to near Onyx Cave to 207 by the Air Cadet Museum then home.
**PSA** slow down in Arkansas and enjoy the views, a really smashed Jeep and a Suburban AND a motorcycle at Pig Trail and Carrol county 102…..looked like maybe a Duke, it was flopped over off the asphalt and I could peep orange wheels! Bambalance, sheriffs and a fire truck at that one…

I can't decide if @Gravel Guy is my hero or nemesis. He's orchestrated a life for himself where he rides more in a week than I do in 10 or maybe 20. He seems able to control the weather (always beautiful) and the streams are cool and clear. And with sideways mentioned of "work" - I'm lead to believe he being PAID to do this? I have clearly made some wrong life decisions... As Mr. Guy himself would say "good on ya"!
